Bob explained how to create accurate line drawings from photos using Nano Banana Pro in Photoshop.

1. Import your photo into Photoshop
2. Click "All" under Select
3. Click "Prompt to Edit" box
4. Click the "Partner" tab and select Gemini 3 (with Nano Banana Pro)
5. Enter your prompt to transform the photograph into an illustration (check out the slide deck for the exact prompt Bob used)
6. Within a minute the image is produced.

You can see the before and after images in the presentation.

Bob notes that you can also use this to upscale your photos: "You can tell it that you want to sharpen. This is incredible. Sharpen a photograph and it will really do a good job. And also, it will upscale your image to 4K if you only have like a 1080p image."

His conclusion, "I got to tell you, if you folks own Photoshop, give it a shot. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised at the product that it creates. It'll give you a whole new way of presenting uh uh your photos and using them in a little bit different manner that's more artistic."

Peggy Kolm: HD Video Generation in Google Vids for Everyone

Peggy shared an update to Google Vids that lets any account use Gemini Omni to generate high definition video clips. Previously, Gemini Omni in Google Vids was only available to Google Workspace users or personal accounts with an AI Pro or Ultra subscription.

1. Open a new Google Vids project (vids.new) and choose to Create AI Videos, Edit Videos with Omni or start with a blank vid.

2. Inside Google Vids you can also click "AI Video" on the right sidebar menu.

3. Set up your video clip:

  • Choose to Create a new video clip, Edit an existing video clip, Animate a photo, or Extend a clip
  • Describe the video or changes you want to make
  • Optionally: Add an AI Avatar or Ingredients such as brand images or characters
  • Select Omni as the video model
  • Set the resolution to 1080p (HD) or 720p (SD)
  • Set the video duration, up to 10 seconds
4. Generate the video

Video generation is limited. Personal accounts, Workspace Individual Accounts and AI Plus Plans only include 6 clips per month. AI Pro and Ultra, and Workspace Business and Enterprise accounts have longer limits.

Peggy says, "Gemini Omni is pretty cool. It's Google's latest video generation model. It's the Nano Banana of video generation."

And she notes, "If you have a personal account, workspace individual or AI plus, you are limited to generating six clips per month, which is not very much. And that includes generating avatars as well. So, it's basically just sort of a little taste of the future."

Nina Trankova: Google Meet AI Note-taking Configuration Update

Nina shared an update to the Google Meet automatic "take notes for me" setting. Google Workspace administrators should review the Gemini settings in the Admin console before September 29, 2026.

The previous setting would enable automatic note-taking for all meetings. Now admins can limit automatic note-taking by default to meetings with three or more participants.

For Business Standard and Plus organizations, the setting is turned ON by default. Enterprise Standard and Plus, Frontline Plus, and Google AI Pro for Education organizations have the setting turned OFF by default.

Admins can change the default setting:

1. Open the Workspace Admin Console
2. Navigate to Apps > Google Workspace > Google Meet > Gemini Settings
3.  Locate "Automatic note-taking" and set the preferred default.

End users can override the admin settings in their own Meet user settings.

Nina says, "If automation is running all the time, but you don't know who is the meeting organizer in this department in another group, then it's better to to turn the default off, because then the storage is full very fast with files from recordings and note taking making."
