To demonstrate efficiency, Nina showed how she used the OnEBoard June Roundup newsletter to generate a summary. She utilized a "human-in-the-loop" approach, copy-pasting descriptions in what she called "the most lazy way possible" to let the AI prove its worth as a technical synthesizer via the new vertical Short video format feature.

Peggy K delivered a critical update on Gemini Omni (Nano) integration within Google Vids—the Workspace-specific video editing suite. This update brings physics-grounded realism and personal digital presence to the professional editing desk.

  • Text-Prompted Editing: You can now edit existing, non-AI videos using natural language. Want to fix the audio or adjust the color grading? Just ask the AI.

⚠️ Insider Warning: While you can create avatars in both the Gemini app and Google Vids, they are not currently interchangeable. If you create an avatar in the Gemini app, you will need to recreate it specifically within Google Vids to use it there.
