Nina Trankova: Experiment with AI-Generated Voice-Overs

Nina's tip this week is to experiment with AI voices and see how your YouTube channel audience will react when you change from your human voice to a generated voice.

She used Gemini Notebook to create Shorts teasers for last month's Tech Topic tips. The short vertical videos use AI voice-overs and link to the Tech Topic episode with the detailed (and human-voiced) tip.

Peggy Kolm: Custom Style Captions in Google Vids


Peggy demonstrated a new feature in Google Vids that lets you customize the style of animated captions.

1. Click the Captions option on the right menu to open the caption settings. 
2. Select a pre-set caption style, and click the Edit button. 
3. Change the Caption Styling, including the font, text color, background color and opacity. 
4. Change the Emphasis Styling, including the animation, font and text color.

Each scene in your video can use a different caption style.
