Tech Topic 44: YouTube video cards, Data Regions, Watch Duty app

This week’s Tech Topic covered:

1. Bob Danley: Give new life to your older YouTube videos by adding info cards to your videos in YouTube Studio. You can add a card that links to a video or playlist. Learn how to add info cards to your YouTube videos.

2. Nina Trankova: For data sovereignty Google Workspace administrators can manage the data region policy for their organization's data processing, storage, and Google services with separate settings for different departments. See the recent announcement and help center article for more information about how to set geographic location for your organization's data.

3. Peggy Kolm: The Watch Duty service (www.watchduty.org) provides real-time wildfire updates for the western US. It's run by a volunteer team of experts, including firefighters, dispatchers, and first responders who monitor updates and use their expertise to share relevant information. This is the best way to distribute accurate information, rather than crowdsourced apps that anyone can update.

Join us for the next episode of OnEBoard Tech Topic on July 28, when Jivko Gurmanov joins us again to share more tips for Google Workspace users. Set a reminder on YouTube.
