Nina Trankova: Trun Slide Presentations into Video 


Steps to convert a Slides Presentation into a Video:
  1. Open the Slides presentation https://docs.google.com/presentation
  2. From the sidebar click the "Convert to Video" icon 
  3. Choose all or some slides  
  4. Edit the script 
  5. Choose a voiceover 
  6. Save 
  7. You can edit  in Google Vids, change the video format,  download an mp4 file and more.

Peggy Kolm: Professional Headshot Generation via Google Photos

The "Remix" tool within Google Photos allow users to generate professional-grade business imagery from casual selfies.

  1. Use the Google Photos mobile app or the app installed on a Chromebook.
  2. Click the "+" icon and choose "Remix images."
  3. Select the "Photorealistic" filter and scroll to the "Professional headshot" option.
  4. Upload a clear photo of your face. Using "Face Groups" can help filter for personal images.
  5. If the initial result is unsatisfactory, regenerate the image.
Eligibility limitations for AI tools in Google Photos:
  •  Users must be at least 18 years old. 
  • The account type must be a personal Google account. 
  • Features are not available in all regions. 
  • There are generation limits tied to the user’s specific Google AI subscription plan.

Bob Danley: Automated Alt-Text and Multimedia via NotebookLM


"In a nutshell, upload images to NotebookLM to generate alt text and an overview description for a social media post (in this case Bluesky). This may also result in an additional product, such as creating a Video Overview for added social media value", says Bob.
