Nina Trankova: Google Workspace Intelligence

Google Workspace Intelligence leverages AI to "read" the context of a user's environment. This capability allows the system to synthesize information from various tools without the user needing to provide manual background data. When active, Gemini can review: Gmail, Chat. Documents, Calendar.

The functionality of these features is heavily dependent on administrative settings. Administrators currently have "Gemini in Workspace" settings turned on by default. If administrators disable "Workspace Intelligence" for specific access groups, Gemini’s ability to read context in Docs is neutralized. This significantly reduces the quality and relevance of prompt results.

Peggy Kolm: YouTube Mobile Timestamp Link

It is now possible to share a link to a YouTube video with a timestamp from the YouTube mobile app.
"Because this is available, YouTube is removing the option to create clips. Clips are short video segments that you add a description to before you share or remix into a short. You can see the clips you created and that fans made from your videos in your YouTube account. Those will remain available, but you can't create new clips.", Peggy says.

Bob Danley: Earth Day Tip Automatically Adapted Regionally

Upload Bob's presentations for Earth Day and prompt NotebookLM to make a slide valid for where you are intending toobserve Nature. In this example slide Nr. 6 "A Calendar of Continuous Discovery" from presentation "Science is No Longer Confined tothe Lab" is adopted to Bulgaria for observing the migration of the birds well know as "Via Pontica" etc.

Sunscribe to OnEBoard's Newsletter to download the slide decks for free and adopt them for your region to start with your own Calendar of Continuous Discovery of Nature.

OnEBoard will be back with 3 Tips in 10 Minutes on 10 May.
