Bob Danley: Get the Google Arts & Culture to create an AI City Guide or Comic
a
Bob has been enjoying using the Google Arts & Culture mobile app. There
are two new AI-powered features: a City Guide (for major cities) customized to
your schedule and Comic Postcards that put you in a comic set in the city you
are exploring.
You can also sign up for the Google Arts & Culture "Culture Weekly" email
list, which lets you pick the topics you are interested in, including art,
travel, and natural history. You get a customized email every week.
Bob says, "I think it's a fun little thing to play with, especially if you are
traveling and even if you aren't it'll give you some ideas on where to go."

Peggy Kolm: Create an Archive of a Gmail Label
Peggy shared instructions for creating and downloading an archive of Gmail email messages with a particular label. Labels in Gmail are like tags or folders, letting you organize your message threads by topic.
To create a message archive:
1. Sign in to Google Takeout (takeout.google.com) and click "Deselect all"
2. Select "Mail"
3. Click "All Mail data included"
4. On the menu that pops up, Deselect "Include all messages in Mail", and select the one Label you want to create an archive for. You may have to deselect Labels automatically selected by Google, including Inbox, Sent and Starred.
5. Click "OK" and confirm that it now shows "1 label selected".
6. Scroll down and click "Next Step"
7. Set your Archive preferences, including how often it should create an archive, and where the archive should be delivered (download is the default).
8. Create your archive. Google will email you when it is ready to download.
Gmail archives are in MBOX format, which can be read by Thunderbird, Apple Mail and other 3rd party tools.
Peggy says , "And the idea is you have a particular project or a trip or in
the event or messages from blog (that's what's in my example) or messages
from particular social media or whatever labels that you're using you can
create an archive with just that label for your records."
