Peggy K: "I think it's actually pretty neat that these are tools that are helpful to creators. Some are fun, like in the shorts editor. Some are practical like the brainstorming tool or some are great for viewers like the dubbing."

From the live chat:  "I've been playing with a dream screen and been using it and sometimes the dream puts things in you didn't ask for. So be careful. It's fun to play with it though."

Peggy K on why to use the YouTube Inspiration tab for brainstorming: "So you can do this kind of thing in Gemini or chat GPT or something like that. But those aren't YouTube specific. These are supposed to be more YouTube specific suggestions."

Peggy K on why to brainstorm the hook for your video: "The first thing is that you got to get them to click. That's the thumbnail and the title of the video so that when they see that, they think, "Oh, I want to watch that." And they click it. But then you want to capture their attention in the first five seconds or so. That's the hook. So, I think it can help get some brainstorming. You don't have to say exactly what it is, but can give some ideas about how to engage people immediately when they open up your video. And I feel like I should probably be using that."

Nina Trankova, after listening to the sample video auto-dubbed in German: "Very comprehensive and literate. And yes, if you want to convey tutorials in German for specific topics that the German experts didn't cover, you could. Yeah, if you discover something unique that's the way to tell it to the German audience. Very nice."

Bob Danley: "That age verification thing is going to be a good and bad thing, but maybe it'll turn out to be mostly bad."

Peggy K on the difference between the Vids and Shorts video creation tools: "... Google Vids is aimed at the business audience, so it's kind of serious. And Google Shorts has a lot of more things that are just for fun. So, the tone is a little different."
