Tech Topic 66: AI Studio for Web Analysis, Event Pages in Sites, Video Clips with Audio in Google Vids

This week OnEBoard shared tips for using Google's AI tools to analyze your website, create a registration widget for an Event Page in Google Sites, and generate video in Google Vids.

Bob Danley: Use AI Studio to analyze websites

Bob explained how to use Google AI Studio to analyze - and improve - your website.  AI Studio is aimed at developers, but can be used by anyone.

In this case, he asked for an analysis of his website's landing page and three actionable suggestions for improving it.

He notes that you can also use it to analyze other people's websites: "You could say that, hey, I love the way this website is set up, but I want you to apply it to my wildlife watching."

Nina Trankova: Create an Event Page in Google Sites

Nina generated a registration form using Gemini Pro 2.5

Nina shared an Event Page built in Google Sites for a non-profit.

She notes that Sites does not require technical expertise to build a website. "It's eliminating the financial and technical barriers and the team can focus on the community impact actually."

She also used Gemini 2.5 Pro to generate a subscription form, with the subscriptions managed through Google Firebase.

Bonus tip: Create an Audio Overview of the event in English for people who are going to visit and don't speak Bulgarian.

Peggy Kolm: Use Veo 3 in Google Vids to Generate Video with Audio

Technical limits for video clips generated in Google Vids

Peggy shared a recent update to Google Vids that lets you use Veo 3, Google's latest text-to-video model, to generate short video clips with audio. That means you can generate a realistic-looking person and literally put words in their mouth.

There are some limitations. You can only generate an 8 second clip at 720p (not full HD). And you can only generate videos 20 times per day, and only 10 times with Veo 3.

Google Vids with video generation is available to Google Workspace accounts and personal Google Accounts with a Google One AI Pro or Ultra subscription.
